FB: Williams, Johnson named NAIA POTW, Trejo adds SAC Kicker of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA announced Texas Wesleyan football players Ty Williams and Adrian Johnson as offensive and defensive players of the week in its eighth edition of the award for the 2020-21 season. Texas Wesleyan footbal also earned a full sweep of the Sooner Athletic Conference football player of the week honorees for the first time ever. The conference's offensive player of the week Ty Williams, defensive player of the week Adrian Johnson and special teams player of the week Daniel Trejo rallied Texas Wesleyan past Arizona Christian 37-34 on Saturday in Glendale, Ariz.
