Falcons, Head Coach Arthur Smith Fined For Violating NFL's Injury Report Policy

By Tzvi Machlin There's been some controversy this year over the NFL's Injury Report Policy and one team appears to have been hit with a hefty fine over it. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Atlanta Falcons have been fined $75,000 as an organization while head coach Arthur Smith has been fined $25,000 for violating the policy prior to the team's Week 7 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The fine is reportedly a result of the team failing to disclose an illness that starting running back Bijan Robinson had leading up to the game. Robinson wound up having just one touch on 11 snaps …
