Eli Carr Named USA South Offensive Rookie of the Week Following Collegiate Debut

Following a come-from-behind victory, 19-10, over Averett University, freshman quarterback Eli Carr was selected as Football Offensive Rookie of the Week by the USA South Conference.

Carr, a native of nearby Asheville, North Carolina, turned in a highly-efficient performance on Saturday in Danville, completing 24-of-32 passing attempts for 212 yards and a touchdown to help lead the Tornados to victory on the road. All 19 of Brevard's points came in the second half on Saturday, with 13 coming in the fourth quarter of play.
