Derek McCormick Earns Second MSC Sun Player of the Week Award

COLUMBIA, Ky.- Ave Maria freshman kicker Derek McCormick was named the Mid-South Conference Sun Division Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. McCormick is joined on this week's Sun Division honor roll by Offensive Player of the Week Asfunso Elam from Keiser, and defensive back Kama Jackson from Warner, the Defensive Player of the Week.
