Defense Shines in Battle of the Birds Victory over Quincy

QUINCY, Ill. – The William Jewell football team closed the 2022 season with a 17-7 victory over Quincy University in the second annual Battle of the Birds to earn their first conference win since 2018 and first road win since 2017. The Cardinals finish 2-9 overall and 1-5 in the GLVC.
