Darran Butts Invited to Play in Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl

HAMPTON, Va. (Nov. 30, 2023) … Hampton running back Darran Butts has been invited to play in the 2024 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl. Butts finished eighth in the Coastal Athletic Association in rushing with 670 yards. As a senior, he averaged 5.5 yards per carry and scored four touchdowns. For his career, the Suffolk, Va., native played in 33 games for the Pirates. He amassed 295 carries for 1,582 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns.
