Dampier Runs Statesmen Past Shorter, 14-13

CLEVELAND, Miss. — Deion Damper's 91-yard run touchdown run in the fourth quarter combined with a smothering Delta State University (3-5, 2-4 GSC) defense helped the Statesmen claim a 14-13 win over Shorter University (2-7, 0-6 GSC) on Saturday afternoon at Parker Field-McCool Stadium.
