Crimson Hawks look to spoil Clarion's Homecoming Saturday

The Game
The Crimson Hawks hit the road for the second time this season and look to crash Clarion's Homecoming party this Saturday afternoon at Memorial Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

IUP is coming off its Homecoming game, holding on to defeat Gannon 28-23 last Saturday. It was the second straight win for the Hawks, who improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC West. IUP was aided by a hot start, scoring touchdowns on its first two drives and used a defensive stop with under 3 minutes left to preserve the win. Gr. QB Harry Woodbery totaled 4 touchdowns.

Clarion is winless (0-5, 0-2) on the year and is coming off a 75-0 loss at nationally-ranked Slippery Rock a week ago. The Golden Eagles were held to 81 yards of total offense, converted 1-14 third down chances, and gave away 3 turnovers.
