Cowboys Have Reportedly Cut Notable Running Back

Per Calvin Watkins, they have released Malik Davis but hope that they can bring him back to their practice squad. Davis played for the Cowboys during the preseason, but he didn't do enough to make their active roster. He finished their most recent game against the Las Vegas Raiders with 10 carries for 42 yards along with three receptions for 15 yards.
