Cowboys Get Unfortunate Injury Update On Starting Wide Receiver

By Matt Audilet Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks is working with the rehab group for today's practice session as he deals with a sprained MCL injury, per team insider Clarence Hill Jr. The Cowboys added Cooks to serve as their secondary wide receiver option behind CeeDee Lamb earlier this offseason. Cooks reeled in two passes for 22 yards in his Dallas debut as the Cowboys dismantled the New York Giants 40-0. The 29-year-old wideout spent his previous three seasons in Houston before getting acquired in a trade back in March. Cooks is currently listed as questionable to play in Sunday's Week…
