Colts Release Former Starting Running Back On Saturday

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Colts are releasing running back Deon Jackson. Jackson started Week 1 for the Colts against the Jaguars. He only had 14 rushing yards on 13 carries. The Duke product also had five receptions in the season opener. Since joining the Colts in 2021, Jackson has racked up 281 yards on the ground and 223 yards through the air.
