Chiefs Optimistic About Isiah Pacheco’s Return Following Shoulder Surgery

By Jelani Scott As the Chiefs prepare to play without Isiah Pacheco for a second consecutive game, coach Andy Reid shared an encouraging update on the running back’s status ahead of Week 15. Reid announced Friday that Pacheco, who Kansas City ruled out earlier in the day, underwent “cleanup surgery” on the shoulder injury he sustained in Week 13. Described initially as a contusion, Reid also confirmed Pacheco’s injury occurred on the same shoulder that required offseason surgery due to a torn labrum.
