Richmond, Va. – Specialists play a distinctive and essential role on every football team. Their impact might not always be visible in terms of physicality, but they serve a crucial role in the way the game is played. Without specialists, teams would be left looking to fill gaps that would otherwise cost them the game, thus making these positions some of the most important on the team.
