Callahan, Hutra, and Smith Sweep NEWMAC Football Weekly Honors

Springfield, Mass. – October 21, 2019 – After helping the Springfield College defeat Merchant Marine on Saturday, three members of the football program were recognized by the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC).  Tim Callahan (Enfield, Conn.) was named the NEWMAC Offensive Athlete of the Week, Christian Hutra (Holmes, N.Y.) was tabbed the NEWMAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week, and AJ Smith (Rahway, N.J.) was chosen as the NEWMAC Defensive Athlete of the Week.
