CADSA focuses on education, tangible change

DAVIS, Calif. — For a select group of Aggies, the 2019 Black Student-Athlete Summit was a valuable and unique experience, rich with discussion on a variety of topics, including racism, media portrayals, academic issues and social activism. The summit also exposed a need: UC Davis student-athletes of color did not have a similar organization at home. As a result, a group of dedicated Aggies launched a new student-athlete resource group: the Coalition of African Diaspora Student-Athletes, or CADSA.
