Browns Suffered Season-Ending Injury On Defense This Week

By Kameron Duncan The Cleveland Browns lost their first preseason game of the year on Friday night, and they unfortunately suffered another loss to their defense. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, linebacker Jacob Phillips will miss the entire 2023 season with a torn pectoral muscle. It's a repeat of 2022 for Phillips, who ended the year on injured reserve with the same injury. Phillips played in Friday's game against the Washington Commanders before leaving with what was believed to be a shoulder injury at the time.
