Browns Make Decision On Starting Quarterback For Preseason Opener

By Chris Rosvoglou The NFL will make its official return this Thursday with the Hall of Fame Game. The Browns and Jets will square off at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Even though Deshaun Watson looked a tad rusty last season, the Browns will not start him Thursday against the Jets. It was just announced that Kellen Mond will get the start for the Browns in the Hall of Fame Game. Mond, a former third-round pick from Texas A&M, was claimed off waivers by the Browns last August.
