Browns Have Special Plans For Jim Brown In Season Opener

By Andrew Gould The Cleveland Browns will take the field for the first time since Jim Brown died in May. The team will commemorate the legendary running back Sunday and throughout the season. Cleveland unveiled a jersey patch with Brown's name and jersey number (32). The team will display a similar design on the sideline. Per ESPN's Kimberley A. Martin, the Browns will wear the uniform patch throughout the 2023 season. They'll also hold a halftime ceremony during their Week 1 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
