Broncos Earn Record Fall Semester Grade Point Average

Fayetteville State Athletics has been making tremendous strides in competition and the classroom. The Broncos opened the 2023-24 season with two Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championships [so far] after winning a record-setting seven titles last season.  

This past Fall semester, 11 of the Broncos 12 programs achieved a 3.0 or better grade point average. The department achieved an average of 3.26, with women's bowling leading the way with a 3.65. One hundred and thirty-eight (138) student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better GPA. Fifty-two (52) Broncos finished between 3.5 and a 3.9 average while 56 landed between 3.0 and 3.4.
