The SUNY Brockport football team capped its 2021 season with a 20-7 victory over visiting Washington & Jefferson in the ECAC Clayton Chapman Bowl Game on Saturday at Bob Boozer Field.  Senior linebacker Lawrence Jenkins was named the game's Most Valuable Player as he finished the day with 2.0 sacks, two key forced fumbles, five tackles, two pass breakups, two quarterback hurries and two kickoff returns for a total of 50 yards. Junior runningback Jala Coad set a new program single game record with 50 carries for a total of 212 yards and he also added a first quarter receiving touchdown to lead the Brockport offense.  The 200+ yard rushing effort marked the third time Coad eclipsed 200 yards in a game this season and he capped the year with a career-high 1,410 yards rushing.
