Blue Devil Alumni Spotlight: Brandon Olson

Brandon Olson came to UW-Stout not knowing what his major was going to be, but he did come into football camp wanting to play quarterback. Fate held a different card for Olson in football as a medical condition forced him to abandon his quarterback dream, but he stayed on with the program as a punter. Olson also discovered very early in his Stout academic career that he would want to pursue a career in the financial field. A 2005 graduate, Olson has been with LPL Financial since 2008 in Rice Lake and resides in Cameron with his wife, Julie, a Stout graduate, and their three children. Olson is active in the community and serves on the Cameron School Board and as a member of the Cameron Area Fire Department.
