Bears Release Veteran Quarterback Amid Team's Wild Day

By Hunter Hodies The Chicago Bears cut ties with a veteran quarterback on Wednesday. They released Nathan Peterman, leaving only Justin Fields and Tyson Bagent as the two quarterbacks on the roster. Peterman was the backup quarterback to Fields heading into the season but the Bears decided to change course a little over two weeks into the season. He got his NFL start with the Buffalo Bills in 2017 after they picked him in the fifth round that year.
