Bates Jr. named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week

Monday, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference named Michigan Tech sophomore Michael Bates Jr. its GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week. After an outstanding performance in Saturday's 34-0 Husky win at Northwood, Bates Jr. became the second player to receive player of the week distinction for Michigan Tech this fall (Drew Wyble – Oct. 11).
