Back From Bye Week, Mountain Hawks Travel To Fordham Saturday

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh returns from its bye week to play the first of five consecutive Patriot League games as the Mountain Hawks visit Jack Coffey Field in the Bronx, N.Y. Saturday to battle Fordham. The Mountain Hawks are looking for a fresh start in the second half of the season after losing their first six games prior to the bye week. In its last game before the bye, Lehigh and Penn were locked in a defensive battle for two and a half quarters before the Quakers kicked a third quarter field goal and added 17 fourth quarter points to win 20-0. Lehigh lost its only league game this season at Colgate on Sept. 25. Fordham has bounced back from an 0-3 start to win four straight games, including two league games. The Rams defeated Bucknell 66-21 at home last weekend behind six touchdown passes from quarterback Tim DeMorat.
