App State Edges Miami 13-9 in Cure Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla.– The Miami University football team finished its 2023 season with a 13-9 loss to App State Saturday afternoon in the Avocados from Mexico Cure Bowl. In a game played in a driving rainstorm that featured a combined 13 fumbles, the Mountaineers held on to improve to 9-5 (6-2 Sun Belt). Rashad Amos had a career-high 180 rushing yards and a touchdown for the RedHawks (11-3, 7-1 MAC) and ended the season with 1,085 yards on the ground.
