Andrew Schreiner Named GAC Special Teams Player of the Week

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – For the second week in a row a Mulerider has been named a Great American Conference player of the week as junior punter Andrew Schreiner was announced the league's special teams player of the week Monday, September 11. Southern Arkansas has not received multiple GAC POTW honors in a single season since 2021 in which four Muleriders made the cut in Gavin Roe (9/13), Demarcus Williams (9/13, 11/1), and Brock Floyd (10/18). He is also the first Southern Arkansas punter to win the honor since Mulerider-great Tanner Hudson took snaps from deep in 2016.
