Anderson Earns National Honor After Leading Dominant Defensive Performance

Senior defensive back Dante Anderson was named to D3football.com’s Team of the Week following Brevard’s 27-3 victory over Huntingdon in the first on-campus home game in the modern era.

Anderson, a safety from Hartwell, Georgia, recorded a career-high 13 tackles (five solo, eight assist) with a key interception, two pass breakups, and a tackle-for-loss in Brevard’s dominant home victory over defending USA South Conference champion Huntingdon.

The senior captain currently leads Brevard’s defense with 30 tackles – a team-best 16 of which being solo – 10 tackles-per-game, and three pass breakups.
