American Rivers Conference Announces Football Postseason Awards, 11 Kohawks Named All-League

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – 11 Coe College football players were recognized by the American Rivers Conference in its annual postseason football award release that was announced on Friday. The 11 honorees for Coe tie with Wartburg and Buena Vista for the second most amongst the league's teams, trailing A-R-C champion, Central, which also swept the major awards. Four Kohawks earned first-team honors as Alex Aitchison, Manny Lopez, Alphonso Soko and Rush Vance were selected to the top squad while Anthony Bullard, Cam Elam, Cedric Nah, Dominic Shepardson and Jacob Janavich all earned second-team nods. Evan Ellis and Jay Oostendorp rounded out the all-conference selections for Coe as the pair earned honorable mention selections.
