Aggies Honored in Third-Annual Aggie Red Carpet

GOODWELL, Okla. – The third-annual Red Carpet Awards were held on Tuesday, May 3rd, in Hughes Strong Hall and hosted by Derek Barton, the "voice of the Aggies. Each year this event is planned and executed by members of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) to celebrate the achievements of individual student-athletes and entire programs. Student-athletes, coaches, and administrators were in attendance to enjoy refreshments and snacks. A photoshoot was held in the lobby during the social hour leading up to and following the award show. Following the welcoming to the awards night, guest speaker Interim President Dr. Ryan Blanton shared some inspiring and congratulatory remarks for our Aggie family. The Year in Review of the Aggies showcased each Aggie sports team's year throughout the 2021-2022 season and their many successes.
