10th-ranked Statesmen knock off Miners in season opener

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T hung in with the nation's 10th-ranked team throughout the first half of Thursday's season opener, but Delta State's offense exploded in the third quarter and sent the Miners to a 48-20 loss at Allgood-Bailey Stadium.
