Wingate is second in LEARFIELD Directors’ Cup standings; highest mark in program history

Cleveland, Ohio—-After a historic fall that saw the Bulldogs collect four top-10 national finishes, Wingate University is second in the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings. The Bulldogs earned points in six sports during the fall, piling up 373 points to check in at number two through the fall season. Wingate only trails Colorado School of Mines, who won a pair of national championships in the fall. The 'Dogs are 69 points ahead of third-place Grand Valley State, who has won the last two LEARFIELD Directors' Cups and six of the last seven. The second-place position for Wingate is the highest the Bulldogs have ever been ranked in LEARFIELD Directors' Cup history.
