Thomas Nears 1000 Yard Mark

He is listed as just 5-9 and 170 pounds. Sophomore Triston Thomas, however, casts a big shadow on the football field for Hamline. The wide receiver snatched six passes for 612 yards and a touchdown for the Pipers in their 69-21 loss at Gustavus Adolphus Saturday. The Floridian also returned four kickoffs for 123 yards — including a season best 72 yarder. That pushed his seasonal yardage total for Total Offense to 928 yards, an average of over 132 yards per game that ranks third in the conference.
