Preseason Honors: Mayfield, Paye on Outland, Nagurski Trophy Watch Lists

University of Michigan linebacker Cameron McGrone and defensive back Ambry Thomas were named to preseason award watch lists on Monday (July 20). Thomas was named to the preseason watch list for the Jim Thorpe Award, presented annually to the nation's top defensive back, while McGrone was included on the watch list for the Butkus Award, presented annually to the nation's top linebacker.
