Pioneers Take Down Nelson to Push Win Streak to 6, Tying Longest Winning Streak in Program History

PLAINVIEW — Wayland Baptist shook off a sluggish start and poured on 39 unanswered points to roll past Nelson University, 45–27, Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at Greg Sherwood Memorial Stadium. With the win, the Pioneers have now tied their longest consecutive winning streak of six games, which was set back in 2016.
