Penei Sewell lineman pass play fails on Lions’ opening drive vs. Bears
On their opening drive during Thursday’s Thanksgiving matchup with the Chicago Bears, the Detroit Lions tried to get creative. Penei Sewell took a pitch from Jared Goff and got ready to throw the pass – but the play failed. Goff faked a pitch to David Montgomery before tossing it to Sewell, the 335-pound star offensive lineman, who looked downfield to throw.
