Whenever I try to explain to friends and family what I do, they assume I get to hangout with athletes, pass out some tape and a couple ice bags and call it a day. I usually tell them if it's a really lucky day that's all I'm needed for, but most days it turns into a whole lot more. On a normal day there are plenty of rehabs to write, injuries to eval, practices to cover, the list goes on and on. Being the main healthcare provider for all our students-athletes keeps us busy but the fact that we're able to positively influence the lives of these young Men and Women makes it worth it.
