Mavericks Pull Away Late at Concordia-St. Paul

Sophomore running back Sam Backer rushed for three touchdowns and No. 15 Minnesota State used a big second half to down Concordia-St. Paul, winning 47-19 Saturday afternoon at Sea Foam Stadium. It was the Mavericks' third straight victory as the team improved to 5-1 overall, 4-1 in the NSIC.
