Lopers edge Wildcats 28-21 in season opener

Nebraska-Kearney converted three Wayne State turnovers into 14 points and the Lopers held off a late drive by the Wildcats to hold on for a 28-21 non-conference college football win in the season opener for both teams Thursday evening at Cunningham Field in Wayne before a crowd of 2,101 fans.
