Longtime Spider Public Address Announcer Mike Levay Passes Away From Cancer

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond athletics department would like to honor longtime men's basketball and football public address announcer Mike Levay for his years of service as the in-venue voice of the Spiders. Levay took a medical leave of absence last basketball season and has now announced his retirement of his Spider duties this year due to a cancer diagnosis, but is still a beloved member of the Spider athletics family.
