Jones named NCCAA Offensive Athlete of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. — Trinity's true freshman wide receiver Cameron Jones debuted with a bang on Saturday, with his tremendous multi-faceted effort being enough to net NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week honors! Jones, in his first collegiate game, put up numbers that some wideouts would be happy to post in a season, hauling in 13 balls for 131 yards. The Richland Hills, Texas native also showed out in the kick return game, totaling 72 yards on his three runbacks including a 44-yard return that nearly resulted in a house call.
