Jes Krcil collects NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honors

Wayne State sophomore linebacker Jes Krcil was announced as the Northern Sun Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week Monday morning following his play in Saturday's 35-20 upset victory over #9 Minnesota State.  It's the first time the graduate of Carlisle High School in Iowa has earned NSIC Player of the Week honors.   Krcil recorded a game-high 14 tackles with 05 tackles for loss for one yard leading a WSC defense that limited the Mavericks to just 302 yards of offense.  He was credited with six solo and eight assisted tackles in the win.
