Faced with a potential momentum shift against them, the Pittsburg State Gorillas roared to life in the final eight minutes of the second quarter. It was the strong finish in the first half that sent the Gorillas into halftime with an 18-point lead on the way to a 35-16 road victory over 13th ranked Central Missouri Thursday evening at Audrey J. Walton Stadium.
