Football Plays Close First Half At Wildcats Before CWU Pulls Away

ELLENSBURG, Wash. – It was a strong start throughout most of the first half for the Western Oregon University football team on Saturday night at Central Washington. Holding a 7-0 lead and still in front late in the second quarter, the Wildcats ended up scoring 39 unanswered points on their way to claiming the 53-21 Great Northwest Athletic Conference victory at Tomlinson Stadium.
