Football Moves Into Stats Perform FCS Poll, Maintains Spot In AFCA Poll

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond football team moved into the Stats Perform FCS National Rankings Monday as the Spiders checked in at No. 25 in the country after their season-opening 38-14 victory over Howard. The Spiders were receiving votes in the preseason poll and make their first appearance in the Stats Perform FCS Poll. Richmond opened the season ranked No. 22 in the AFCA Coaches' Poll, which is released each Tuesday.
