[Football] Football Lands Historic Road Win at St. Ambrose, 24-17

DAVENPORT, IOWA — The Waldorf University football team came through in the clutch, forcing two turnovers and scoring ten points in the game's final eight minutes to erase a late deficit and earn a 24-17 victory at St. Ambrose University's Brady Street Stadium on Saturday. Senior defensive back MaCoy Yeakel (Kanawha, IA/West Hancock HS) capped off a stellar performance with a game-sealing interception at the Waldorf 25 yard line with 44 seconds remaining, ending St. Ambrose's final scoring threat and delivering Waldorf its first true 2-0 start since 2014.
