[Football] Bethel breaks records & hearts in 46-45 overtime thriller at Ottawa

OTTAWA, Kan. – On a wild day full of Bethel athletic events, none were more eye-catching than the football game between the  (RV) Threshers (6-2, 6-2) and the Ottawa Braves (1-6, 1-6). The Threshers hadn't defeated Ottawa in 11-straight games and needed just one more victory to secure their first winning season since 2008. What ensued was an affair of more than 1,000 total offensive yards between the two squads, which also required overtime to decide the final score. Camryn Harrison (JR/Austin, Texas) put together a monster day with 279 rushing yards, as he helped pace Bethel to a single-game record 531. The defense came through as well with two turnovers, and three clutch blocks on extra points. No play was more valued than Joshua Seabolt (SO/Cimarron, Kan.)'s miraculous block on the overtime extra point to walk Bethel off the field with the 46-45 victory in hand.
