Defensive Fireworks, McGriff's Big Day Lead UC Past Alfred

UTICA, NY – The Utica College football team may have had its longest offseason ever, but the Pioneers were able to hit the ground running on Tuesday. UC scored 21 of the game's first 24 points, and outpaced Alfred by a 9-7 margin in the second half as the Pioneers topped the visiting Saxons by a 30-17 score at Charles A. Gaetano Stadium.
