Blayne Burnett showcased his defensive ability when it mattered most to propel Wolves
MONMOUTH, Ore. – Sure, you can check the stats to see how a player can change a game. But, oftentimes what is left out are the key plays that don't always show up in the box score. The double teams taken on the line, the rush on a quarterback to cause an interception or bad throw or an almost sack that another teammate collects. For Blayne Burnett, he had an impact in all of those ways in helping power a defensive line that set history for the Western Oregon University football team in 2019.
