Big South Reaffirms Commitment to Play 2021 Spring Football Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) – The Big South Conference today reaffirmed its dedication to conduct a 2021 spring football season beginning next month for the five members that committed their intentions to play a spring schedule.  The five teams competing — Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb, Kennesaw State, Monmouth and Robert Morris — will play a 4-game league schedule and up to four (4) non-conference games, with the league champion representing the Big South in the NCAA Division I Football Championship scheduled to begin April 24.  The Big South will conduct its spring football season in accordance with the Conference's and NCAA's Return to Competition COVID-19 Guidelines to ensure the safety of all participants.
